BARRY

This was one of the first portraits I undertook in 1991. Oil on canvas this one clearly reflected back to me my emotional state at that time regarding the sitter. Barry was my husband at the time and we were in the midst of divorce proceedings. In spite of the intense expression, we were and remained great friends over the ensuing years until his passing last year.

My sojourn into painting began with portraiture and was healing on every level.
